Methodology
JobFox is a live job index for the Israeli tech market. Instead of relying on companies to submit listings on their own, we continuously scrape the career pages of Israeli tech companies and connect directly to applicant-tracking-system (ATS) APIs like Greenhouse, Lever, and Comeet where they are available. That means our list does not depend on someone remembering to post a job. It is built straight from the source.
An "open position" in our index is one we verified as open in our most recent scrape. We re-scrape every company repeatedly, and a position closes in our index once it disappears from the company's career page across several consecutive scrapes, not after a single miss, so a temporary glitch on a company's site does not close a role by mistake. That means there can be a small lag between when a role actually closes and when it drops out of our index, but we favor accuracy over speed.
As of , our index includes 16,866 open positions at 5,735 companies in Israeli tech. These numbers update continuously as scraping runs. Every figure we cite on the blog comes from the most recent snapshot of this index.
Salary data needs particular care. Israeli tech does not require salary disclosure in job postings, and most companies do not publish a pay range alongside a listing. When we show salary data, it is always partial: based on the listings that do include a range, or on sources we call out explicitly. We do not invent numbers and we do not fill gaps with estimates that are not backed by data. If we do not have enough data to state something with confidence, we say so.
